I rescued a 4 year old pit mix about a year ago and I’ve always struggled with crate training and his seperation-anxiety. He’s destroyed many pieces of furniture, 4 crates, and would bark all day. No anxiety meds or other remedies had any impact on him. With Nikki, we did a mix between in-home trainings and a board and train- the results were amazing. My dog is no longer terrified of his crate, he goes in it to sleep on his own which never thought would happen. She also taught him all of the basic commands and leash trained him. “Nikki has a gift with dogs and their people, and her application of that gift is perfection. We called in Nikki due to one of our dogs starting to attack our other dog. In less than one hour, Nikki identified the problem, fixed it, and taught us to maintain it. She got one of the dogs to stop jumping to greet people (was a trigger for other dog to attack), she got the aggressor to unwind and stop biting, AND she taught them both how to heel on a leash. She taught us what to do then watched us implement and gave us feedback. Our dogs were back to loving and playing the next day, and all we have to do is maintain through walks and structure. She changed the dynamics of the dogs and the people in our home in less than one hour. Her cost for services is beyond reasonable.
